The purpose of FaithWorks is to support that part of the Diocesan Mission Statement that
requires us to embody IN ACTION God’s reconciling love, justice, compassion and liberation.
FaithWorks seeks and distributes funds from individuals, corporations foundations, and the
Diocese of Toronto’s parishes for the delivery of direct, practical assistance to those in need or
at risk, through partnership with recipient agencies involved in the delivery of social, health, or
community service at local, diocesan, national and global levels. Our ministries and partners
assist thousands in need annually in the program areas of: children and youth, families at risk,
people seeking transitional and permanent housing, the unemployed, refugees, outreach to
prison inmates and those living in the developing world.
Some of the Community Ministries that we often have speakers from here at Trinity Anglican
church and that you can donate towards:
All Saints Community Centre, Toronto
Provides services and programs geared towards the low-income, under-housed or homeless.
The Bridge, Brampton
Works with inmates and ex-inmates and their families to rebuild their lives.
Couchiching Jubilee House, Orillia
Provides transitional supported living (up to one year) for vulnerable women and children.
The Dam, Mississauga
Alternative to life on the streets for teens.
The David Busby Street Centre, Barrie
A refuge from the streets.
Flemingdon Park Ministry, Don Mills
A storefront mission supporting a multicultural community.
North Shore Shelter
Provides shelter or transitional housing in the northern reaches of the Durham region.
Samaritan House, Barrie
Provides support to women and children who have experienced abuse either through violent
relationships and, or poverty
